Save a Feature Layer

7. Save a Feature Layer#

  1. Right click on the layer, go to Export -> Save Feature As …

  2. Choose the ESRI Shapefile. You can choose many other formats depending on your needs. Other common formats include geopackage, geojson and dxf.

  3. Choose a folder and save the file.

  4. You can choose to change the CRS of the saved file.

  5. If you have selected features in the layer, you can choose to only save those selected features.

  6. Once everything is decided, click OK.
